“How do we need to think differently and what do you say about North Carolina when you are talking to these progressive forward looking companies?”

Gov. Roy Cooper:
“Well first it’s workforce and talent, that is the Number One issue from the CEO’s that I talk to, that they want.  And they are not going to come here unless they can feel relatively sure that they will have access to the talent and workforce.And there’s a constant effort by our universities, by our community colleges even by our high schools.  We have to be very nimble, we have to beready with customized training.  That has to be the Number One thing for sure.
